I want to jump into
the deep inside you
drown in what that means
let my lungs fill with
the expectancy
and the fear
and just jump in
without the hope
of ever breaking surface
again

I want to reach the darkest depths
discover the strange creatures
you hide
in waters both wild and placid
I'll swim, keep swimming,
still swim

Until you don't feel me
and I don't feel you
so much are we
one and the same

I'll be as a shipwrecked sailor
buried under the sands
of your ocean
